Driver Alex Tagliani on the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama Qualifying:
“Today’s result is a little bit disappointing because of the success we’ve been having

so far this season.  But we knew this weekend was going to be a challenge, we missed the opening test and we came in blind with our set-up which made yesterday have a big learning curve.  We have learned a lot in the last two days and tomorrow in the race we’re going to be a lot better.  It took us three practices to figure it out, although we really didn’t want to make qualifying a practice session, but now we know so I’m pretty sure that tomorrow the #77 LaCapsule Sportive/Adonis Products car will be a lot faster.  I think in the race it will be very difficult to pass but we have a great team so hopefully we’ll do something unique in our strategy and it will get us to the front.”

General Manager Rob Edwards on the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama Qualifying:
“Obviously we’re very disappointed.  My unspoken goal for the year was to make sure we made it into the Fast 12 every weekend so I guess I will have to set a new goal for the rest of the year.  But it wasn’t from a lack of effort on everyone’s part.  We live and learn and as a new team we often learn more when things don’t go well than when things go as we like them to.  We’ll learn what we need to from this and we will come back to Long Beach stronger than ever in our qualifying effort.”

Event Notes:
• The course is a 2.38 mile, 17-turn permanent road course
• This will be the first IZOD Indy Car Series event at Barber Motorsports Park although the series has tested at this facility.
